Membership is one dollar a month (Axiom A2). The fee keeps the platform alive — it pays for the infrastructure this society runs on, nothing more. Membership lapses when the subscription ends, and cancelling is one click in Stripe's portal.

Expelled members are not refunded — the fee is forfeit, and that is stated before payment rather than discovered after it. Refunds happen only for genuine payment errors, are founder-initiated, and are recorded in the ledger like everything else.
